Eastwood Golf Club Glasgow

Captain's Welcome

Eastwood is a golf club steeped in history yet offering a modern course layout .The club is owned by and run for members, visitors and guest’s enjoyment. I do hope that all golfers experience the friendly, welcoming atmosphere and excellent facilities that Eastwood has to offer.

The course was substantially redesigned and re-laid in the last 15 years to accommodate the M77 Kilmarnock motorway and the Glasgow Southern Ring-Road .These result is now a mature, modern layout at an easily accessed location. Situated now in a tranquil setting within the Renfrewshire Heights, Eastwood offers a tranquil setting, surrounded by open rural landscapes to enjoy a game of golf. The course is a very playable, par 70, SSS70, of some 6071 yards, over a varied moorland terrain with changing vistas experienced all the way round.

The large greens are all to USGA specification and with effective course drainage ensure the course remains playable more often than many in the surrounding area. Our Course Manager, Neil Lindsay, and his team continue to develop improvements to the playability to the course.

David Orr is our head professional and is a well-respected coach to all levels of players from Scottish Internationals to junior group coaching.  He and his assistants run a well-stocked shop to supply your golfing needs. Tuition is available from a recently fitted covered swing studio installed with leading technology, Trackman Radar. Should you wish, there is the adjacent practice range including a short game practice area.

Eastwood has a full calendar of competitions and social events. There are open completions during the year in addition to the regular member’s events and various interclub team matches covering all capabilities, including juniors, ladies, veterans and low handicap players. A Golf 4 All Open Day is also scheduled for 18th June with lots of activities on offer on the day.

Our landmark clubhouse offers a base for our caterers, Nigel and Janice Sinnamon to provide après golf meals, snacks, beverages and drinks. The clubhouse accommodates visiting parties and private functions offering a variety of room configurations. Members enjoy social events including Barbeques, Band Nights, Burns Supper and Dinner Functions.

Bookings for the Clubhouse and enquiries about playing the course can be made through the office manned throughout the week by our Secretary Management team of Ian Storie and Alan Ferguson. They will also answer any queries regarding golf membership offers, open days completions and the ever - popular visiting parties.

You are all welcome to come and enjoy the golf experience at Eastwood.
